4. Preshrinking

A finishing process that physically reduces the shrinkage of fabric after immersion in water is also known as mechanical preshrink. In the process of dyeing and finishing, the warp of the fabric will be strained, the warp wave height will be reduced, and the phenomenon of elongation will appear. After the hydrophilic fiber fabric is soaked in water, the fiber will expand, the warp and weft diameter increases, so that the warp warp wave height increases, the length of the fabric is shortened, resulting in shrinkage. The percentage of the length shortened to the original length is called shrinkage. Mechanical preshrinking is the process of wetting the fabric by spraying steam or spray, then mechanically squeezing it to increase the warp wave height, and then letting it loose and dry. Shrinkage of pre-shrunk cotton cloth can be reduced to less than 1%.

Use the pre-shrink machine to loosen the cloth and let it stand for more than 48 hours to prevent the quality problems such as different length, shrinkage and relaxation due to shrinkage.

5. Lab

6. The cutting cloth

7. Sewing
